We design three basic solar power package configurations, namely

•  STAND ALONE PV/WIND

•  HYBRID PV/WIND + Grid Power + GENSET

•  BACK-UP POWER

  STAND ALONE

For this configuration, all the specified loads will depend entirely on the power direct from the SUN and/or WIND.

The power from the sun/wind will be stored in batteries to be used by the designated loads throughout the day and night.

This system is designed as an independent electrical power supply.

  HYBRID PV/WIND + Grid Power + GENSET

This configuration stores power from both the sun/wind and power from the genset and Grid Power and therefore depends on some few (as designed) hours of genset/Grid Power power.

It will be required that Grid Power or genset power by available for a specified duration of time every week.

This system is designed as a semi-independent system that is supplemented by a hybrid power supply from the national grid (Grid Power).

  BACK-UP POWER

This configuration depends entirely on power from Grid Power or genset to charge the batteries for a specified time every day and the battery will then be used to provide power for the designated loads.

This configuration is similar to the conventional UPS, but with extended run-time of up to 20 hours every day and carrying larger loads.

This system is designed to be completely dependent on the national grid (Grid Power) and/or genset.
